Sophina earned a one-year research fellowship to support her work on regulatory B cells in allergic airway disease from the American Association of Immunologists (AAI). This caps a great year for her in which she has made significant progress on her dissertation research, was coauthor on a paper in Neurology: Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation and was invited to give a platform talk at the annual meeting of the AAI that took place in Seattle, Washington in May.
